Rock Island Arsenal’s Child, Youth & School Services (CYSS) is pleased to announce that it plans to begin implementing the SKIESUnlimited program in early 2010.
SKIESUnlimited is a ground breaking instructional program initiative. The name SKIESUnlimited combines the acronym for “Schools of Knowledge, Inspiration, Exploration & Skills” with the word “Unlimited” meaning the unlimited learning possibilities this exciting initiative offers Army children and youth. SKIESUnlimited provides the framework or umbrella for all instructional programming in the CYSS System worldwide. SKIESUnlimited encompasses instructional programs for children & youth from four weeks through senior year in high school.
This program will bring Instructional classes here on post to children of RIA. This will eventually include Ballet, Tap, Gymnastics, Piano, Cooking and others. Classes are more affordable than off-post, Instructors are highly qualified in their field and are required to go through CYSS training. Class times will be convenient for parents and children’s schedules.
In preparing to kickoff the SKIESUnlimited program at Rock Island Arsenal, we would like to get some input on what classes’ parents and children would like us to offer.
