Ever wonder what your child will be when he or she grows up? Maybe your child will be the next Mozart, the one who tops Tiger Woods, or maybe both. The School of Knowledge, Inspiration, Exploration, and Skills (SKIESUnlimited) offers a wide variety of programs that will unlock your child’s potential. SKIESUnlimited programs are available to children (4 weeks old thru Senior Year of High School) of active duty military, DoD civilians and eligible contractors on Rock Island Arsenal (RIA).
The name SKIESUnlimited is an acronym for “School of Knowledge, Inspiration, Exploration, and Skills” with the word “Unlimited” represents the unlimited possibilities this program can offer Army children and youth. SKIESUnlimited encompasses instructional programs for children and youth ranging from 4 weeks old thru their Senior Year of High School.
SKIESUnlimited has a four-school system. The four schools are: School of Sports, Fitness & Health; School of Arts, Recreation & Leisure; School of Life Skills, Citizenship & Leadership; and School of Academic Skills, Mentoring & Intervention. Through SKIESUnlimited, children and youth in CYSS programs, as well as Home Schooled Children, all have equal access to opportunities that expand their knowledge, inspire them, allow them to explore and acquire new skills.
