Patronage Eligibility

You are eligible to patronize the RIA Community Fitness Center if you are:

  • Active duty military or a family member.
  • Member of the RC or a family member , which includes Ready Reserve, National Guard and ROTC cadet.
  • Delayed Entry recruit.
  • Retired military or a family member.
  • Veteran with 100% service-connected disability, honorably discharged.
  • DOD APF/NAF civilian employee, retired DOD civilian or a family member.
  • DOD contract personnel or technical representative who works full time on the installation.
  • Non-DOD federal employee working on the installation.
  • From any other category identified in Army Regulation 215-1, (contact the center for clarification).

Family members are established as in accordance with Army Regulation 640-2 as being a lawful spouse…children under the age of 21 and unmarried…children over the age of 21 to the age of 23 who are enrolled full-time in an institution of higher learning as long as they remain unmarried and dependent upon the sponsor for over 50% of their support.

Free Services

The center entitles you to use the following free basic center services: Use of locker rooms, running track, weight room, basketball court areas, climbing wall, circuit room, cardio room and racquetball courts.

Road guard vests must be worn when running or walking outside when headlights are required. They are available to be checked out at the front desk and must be returned the same day.

We offer weight room orientation classes by appointment – just ask at the front desk.

There are daily-use lockers at no fee (bring your own lock.) Use of locker rooms also includes showers, dry sauna and steam room.

Bootcamp

This is a military inspired strength and conditioning class that focuses on total body fitness, endurance, communication and team work. Exercises and conditioning drills used by the U.S. Army are the basis of this program as well as exercises developed by the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM).  Free weights, body weight, speed and agility drills and other exercise equipment will be used during this class

This is a challenging class, but exercises can be and are adjusted for participants as needed to ensure group cohesion and maintain participant motivation.

Spinning

The ultimate indoor cycling experience! This simulated bike “adventure” works the entire body in a group environment set to high-energy music and instructor’s guidance. Classes are limited in size so register early. Water bottles are required and cycling shorts are recommended. This class is a great cross training program for other sports and for the outdoor cyclist as well. Come travel the “journey!”

Rowing

Rowing is a group fitness program that gives a complete body strength training with aerobic and anaerobic in one workout. Backed by Concept2, the program is dynamic, fun and is student focused; designed to empower the participants. Limited equipment, so register early!

Military: $23 (6 weeks)

Yoga

Hatha Yoga is focused on one posture at a time compared to flow yoga that moves in and out of postures without a break in between. This focus allows the student to find correct postural alignment using breath as a guide.  Yoga is for anyone searching for a workout that is guided and challenging while lengthening and strengthening the muscles and bones. Both verbal and physical alignment instructions are provided and students are introduced to the various breathing techniques to help calm, energize, cool, and warm the body. Yoga has been practiced for thousands of years…what are you waiting for?

TRX®

TRX® is suspension training that focuses on the entire body, emphasizing core performance that is tailored to your ability. The pendulum principle and suspension training will allow you to maximize lifting like never before.  TRX® is used extensively by the U.S. Military, NFL, NCAA and athletes and fitness enthusiasts worldwide.  TRX® is a great way to tone up and have fun!

 Core Basic

Develop your core and cardio with this basic, but yet challenging program.  Through the use of resistance bands, free weights, body weight and light cardio vascular exercises, this class focuses on your body’s “Core” and will improve your stability and balance while getting lean and improving overall body muscle endurance.

This class is great for beginners or for someone who wants to maintain their overall fitness.

Fit For Life

Fit For Life is a class designed to help you stay healthy, fit, and active throughout all stages of your life.  This class combines low impact cardio,strength training, balance, and flexibility training. This class is also a great way to improve health, help you feel better, have fun, and socialize with others! Fit For Life will help individuals improve balance, posture, coordination, flexibility, strength, and endurance through instructed guidance using light weights, resistance bands, stability balls, medicine balls, indoor track and various other pieces of equipment.

Civ: $18 (6 weeks)

Mil: $16 (6 weeks)

20:20:20

This combination class is for those who prefer the ‘variety-pack’ within their exercise regimen! 20:20:20 is broken up into three 20 minute segments and the areas of focus will be aerobic, strength and core. In other words this class is going to work your heart for 20 minutes, extremities for 20 minutes and mid-section for 20 minutes! Two classes back to back will be offered to include more participants with the different work schedules.

Adult Sports Leagues

Get fit and have fun in one of our various team & individual sports leagues held throughout the year including basketball, volleyball, flag football, softball, kickball, dodgeball, and racquetball.

Indoor Tanning Booth and Bed

Tanning Fees are as follows:
One visit $5.00
10 day package $30.00

All tanning is non-refundable. Limited to one visit per 24 hours. All packages are activated on the first tanning visit. Packages may not be shared. Tanning goggles are required for your safety.  The tanning consent form must be signed by all customers and witnessed by an operator of the Fitness Center.  You must be 18 years or older to use the tanning bed/booth.
