Patronage Eligibility

You are eligible to patronize the RIA Community Fitness Center if you are:

  • Active duty military or a family member.
  • Member of the RC or a family member , which includes Ready Reserve, National Guard and ROTC cadet.
  • Delayed Entry recruit.
  • Retired military or a family member.
  • Veteran with 100% service-connected disability, honorably discharged.
  • DOD APF/NAF civilian employee, retired DOD civilian or a family member.
  • DOD contract personnel or technical representative who works full time on the installation.
  • Non-DOD federal employee working on the installation.
  • From any other category identified in Army Regulation 215-1, (contact the center for clarification).

Family members are established as in accordance with Army Regulation 640-2 as being a lawful spouse…children under the age of 21 and unmarried…children over the age of 21 to the age of 23 who are enrolled full-time in an institution of higher learning as long as they remain unmarried and dependent upon the sponsor for over 50% of their support.

Free Services

The center entitles you to use the following free basic center services: Use of locker rooms, running track, weight room, basketball court areas, climbing wall, circuit room, cardio room and racquetball courts.

Road guard vests must be worn when running or walking outside when headlights are required. They are available to be checked out at the front desk and must be returned the same day.

We offer weight room orientation classes by appointment – just ask at the front desk.

There are daily-use lockers at no fee (bring your own lock.) Use of locker rooms also includes showers, dry sauna and steam room.

Paid Services

The classes in the section below are available on a pay per class basis.

We also offer 1 on 1 work with personal trainers, inquire at the front desk for more info.

**HOT NEW DEAL**  Save money and eliminate the hassle of stopping to pay at the front desk for every class!  Buy a 12 class punch card for $35 (Standard) or $18 (Active Duty Military & Family Member discount).  Punch card not valid for cardio self defense classes.

All classes except cardio self defense are offered on a drop-in basis only for $3/class.  Cardio Self Defense is $5/class or $36 for an 8 class punch card.

Core Blast

45 minutes of full body movements & cardio designed to strengthen your core.  This is an interval based conditioning class where you’ll learn to recruit muscles to work together to improve strength, stability & balance.  A variety of equipment will be implemented to include kettle bells, TRX, medicine balls, as well as rowing machines and spin bikes.  This class is appropriate for beginners to advanced.


The ultimate indoor cycling experience! This simulated bike “adventure” works the entire body in a group environment set to high-energy music and instructor’s guidance. Classes are limited in size so register early. Water bottles are required and cycling shorts are recommended. This class is a great cross training program for other sports and for the outdoor cyclist as well. Come travel the “journey!”

Row / Core Fitness

Row / Core Fitness is a group fitness program that offers a complete body strength training workout combining aerobic and anaerobic training in one workout. Backed by Concept2, the program is dynamic, fun and is student focused; designed to empower the participants. A variety of equipment will be used in class such as TRX, medicine balls and kettle bells.  Limited equipment, so register early!


WERQ is the fiercely fun dance fitness class based on pop, rock, and hip hop  music. Instructor chooses from over 150 routines pre-choreographed to the freshest music and makes a unique play-list to deliver a calorie crushing WERQout.  The 3Q1  method of cuing makes it easy to follow, and the hottest music makes WERQ highly addictive. Experience WERQ with the expert in this dance fitness session.

Total RX

What happens when you recruit more muscles at one time using our new TRX equipment? You reap the benefits!! Total RX is your very own prescription for fitness. You control the intensity simply by adjusting your body position and angle to add or decrease resistance. Combine multiple dynamic muscle recruitment on the TRX with cardio drills and you have a mega caloric burn!

Total Body Conditioning

End your workday with an invigorating and dynamic workout. This class offers something for the beginner just starting out as well as for the more advanced athletes. The total body conditioning class will offer a multitude of cardio and strength training exercises designed to work the total body. The Instructor will design workouts using body weight, cardio equipment, free weights, kettle bells, medicine balls and a variety of equipment that will incorporate many different, challenging workouts for every level of fitness. Come join the fun while improving your health.

Cardio Self Defense

The Cardio Self Defense course is a workout that will increase your strength and flexibility. It is designed to not only train individuals on basic self-defense techniques but drill and strengthen those basic movements.  This intense, total-body workout can improve strength, aerobic fitness, flexibility, coordination, and balance. It’s a workout that blends elements of boxing, kickboxing and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu into a 60-minute exercise routine. Includes a balance of pad-work, speed drills and technique. Each workout finishes with a combination of a cardio workout, boxing drills, footwork and “combination training”. Become aware of self-defense techniques In a safe environment with a certified Combatives instructor.

Adult Sports Leagues

Get fit and have fun in one of our various team & individual sports leagues held throughout the year including basketball, volleyball, flag football, softball, kickball, dodge ball, and racquetball.

Indoor Tanning Booth and Bed

Tanning Fees are as follows:
One visit $5.00
10 day package $30.00

All tanning is non-refundable. Limited to one visit per 24 hours. All packages are activated on the first tanning visit. Packages may not be shared. Tanning goggles are required for your safety.  The tanning consent form must be signed by all customers and witnessed by an operator of the Fitness Center.  You must be 18 years or older to use the tanning bed/booth.
