Patronage Eligibility

You are eligible to patronize the RIA Community Fitness Center if you are:

  • Active duty military or a family member.
  • Member of the RC or a family member , which includes Ready Reserve, National Guard and ROTC cadet.
  • Delayed Entry recruit.
  • Retired military or a family member.
  • Veteran with 100% service-connected disability, honorably discharged.
  • DOD APF/NAF civilian employee, retired DOD civilian or a family member.
  • DOD contract personnel or technical representative who works full time on the installation.
  • Non-DOD federal employee working on the installation.
  • From any other category identified in Army Regulation 215-1, (contact the center for clarification).

Family members are established as in accordance with Army Regulation 640-2 as being a lawful spouse…children under the age of 21 and unmarried…children over the age of 21 to the age of 23 who are enrolled full-time in an institution of higher learning as long as they remain unmarried and dependent upon the sponsor for over 50% of their support.

Free Services

The center entitles you to use the following free basic center services: Use of locker rooms, running track, weight room, basketball court areas, climbing wall, circuit room, cardio room and racquetball courts.

Road guard vests must be worn when running or walking outside when headlights are required. They are available to be checked out at the front desk and must be returned the same day.

We offer weight room orientation classes by appointment – just ask at the front desk.

There are daily-use lockers at no fee (bring your own lock.) Use of locker rooms also includes showers, dry sauna and steam room.

Paid Services

The classes in the section below are available on a pay per class basis.

We also offer 1 on 1 work with personal trainers, inquire at the front desk for more info.

Amp It Up!

From circuit-style routines to creative muscle building exercise, this class combines full body weight training with high intensity cardio bursts designed to build strength, add definition, increase bone density and improve your endurance. No two classes are the same.



 Buttz & Gutz

Keep the fat burning and muscles responding in this quick, high energy, pure muscle conditioning class that strengthens and shapes your hips, thighs, butt and abdomen.  Exercises target and define your entire core and lower body.  BONUS: You will get some activation exercises and mobility training as well which is very important for those that sit behind the computer all day. Class is a fun and stress relieving way to burn off calories.

Row / Core Fitness

Row / Core Fitness is a group fitness program that offers a complete body strength training workout combining aerobic and anaerobic training in one workout. Circuit and interval training also included in the workout. Backed by Concept2, the program is dynamic, fun and is student focused; designed to empower the participants. A variety of equipment will be used in class such as TRX, medicine balls and kettle bells.  Limited equipment, so register early!


The ultimate indoor cycling experience! This simulated bike “adventure” works the entire body in a group environment set to high-energy music and instructor’s guidance. Classes are limited in size so register early. Water bottles are required and cycling shorts are recommended. This class is a great cross training program for other sports and for the outdoor cyclist as well. Come travel the “journey!”


Total RX

Get your blood pumping with this TRX cardio circuit class that will utilize rowing machines and various equipment along with the TRX suspension training system to obtain maximum result.  TRX classes use the TRX suspension training system for a full body workout. With TRX your body creates the resistance for the resistance exercises!  We’ll show you how to scale them to make them as challenging as you can handle. A complete workout with boot camp style exercises with the multi-function of the TRX training station.  You’ll work your entire body by recruiting more muscles at one time.

Train Dirty Fitness Kick

Train Dirty Fitness Kick is a fun cardio kickboxing class that is easy to follow and gives you a challenging workout.  The TDF format makes it easy for the participants to follow. Jab, knee and kick your way through this fun TDF kick class. Two moves per song, slowly develop choreography progressions and focus on cueing for all styles of learners. New and experienced cardio kick boxers will love this new class!




Reap the benefits of Hatha yoga. Move through a process of integrated postures that encourage the mind body and spirit to work in symmetry. Increase strength and balance while improving overall health. Outstanding benefits may be achieved through devotion to practice and respecting your body with dignity. Class will conclude with a five minute relaxation that will leave you feeling centered and stress free. Bring your own mat if preferred. Namaste.


Zumba! No dance experience needed! You just need to know how to move! Come and join us for a fun filled hour of fitness, with lots of great music to go along with lots great dance moves. Don’t worry about doing the wrong steps, just have fun and enjoy. Zumba is about dancing, energy & excitement! So DITCH THE WORKOUT! JOIN THE PARTY!

Adult Sports Leagues

Get fit and have fun in one of our various team & individual sports leagues held throughout the year including basketball, volleyball, flag football, softball, kickball, dodge ball, and racquetball.

Indoor Tanning Booth and Bed

Tanning Fees are as follows:
One visit $5.00
10 day package $30.00

All tanning is non-refundable. Limited to one visit per 24 hours. All packages are activated on the first tanning visit. Packages may not be shared. Tanning goggles are required for your safety.  The tanning consent form must be signed by all customers and witnessed by an operator of the Fitness Center.  You must be 18 years or older to use the tanning bed/booth.
