Duties:
In a patron usage facility circulates among patrons to assure service is satisfactory; receives and resolves customer complaints; provides information and general instructions on the use of equipment, facilities and machinery. Assist patrons in use of the facility by checking out equipment, providing safety instruction, demonstrating new equipment, teaching classes, etc. Plans, conducts, publicizes and arranges support for special events, social activities, tournaments and related functions. May provide work guidance to other staff.
About the Position:
Flexible (Workweek is usually established and employees usually work less than 40 hours per week. Employment is on a recurring basis only when required. Ineligible for insurance, retirement, holiday pay and leave benefits.

General Schedule
Work experience which involved dealing with the general public. Ability to obtain a drivers license and operate motorized equipment. Incumbent may be required to attend basic First Aid and CPR training. Employee may be required to exercise from slight to moderate exertion depending upon duty locations and task, which could involve stooping, bending, standing and physically able to lift and/or move items weighing 50 to 100 pounds.

May require shift work and/or work on rotating shifts to provide coverage on evenings, weekends, holidays and in other situations.
Conversion of employment category (from Flex to RPT/RFT) may be accomplished without further competition in accordance with AR 215-3.
Permanent Change of Station (PCS) expenses are not authorized.

A medical examination is required.
